Both Emma and Mel who run Guardian Angels are currently working as nannies part time in the afternoons, hence why we are hard to get hold off during these times. This is why we do conduct interviews on the weekend and late evening, as we know how hard it can be to get to an interview if you don't finish work until later on in the evening.

We do visit all our clients without exception for your security. This way you can rest assured the family have been "screened" as well as you. It is unfortunate that we feel this is necessary but it is a sign of the times. We are aware that nannies can be treated very badly and hear some appalling stories of families mistreating them. Emma and Mel will always be on hand for advice and guidance.

Requirements
We require that all our nannies hold a current and valid enhanced crb disclosure. If you do not have one then we can apply with you when you come for your interview and this will cost you £45.00.The criminal records agency will send both you and us a copy of the disclosure.

We also ask that you have a minimum of 2 years childcare experience and that you are over 21 years old. Most parents feel that qualifications are not a necessary requirement, and value experience much higher, so please don't be put off if you don't have any, but likewise qualifications are still a bonus.

We ask that all nannies have a valid paediatric first aid certificate. If you do not hold one we do run classes throughout the year and can inform you of our next class.

If you are not a U.K citizen we would need to see valid work permits before we sign you up to the agency. As with all our nannies we do require that you bring your passport, all your references, a copy of your cv, your original crb (no copies will be accepted) and 2 proofs of name and address I.E. bank statements and phone bills.
